I'm Milli, your typical American fangirl with a tendency to be precocious, but adorable. My many loves include outer space, kitties, Avengers, Star Trek, and Supernatural (among a varied mix of other things); expect these to show up on your dash should you choose to follow.

The astronaut is Major Tom. He's floating in a most peculiar way and the stars look very different today...

This blog is not spoiler-free, however I do try to tag recent movies/shows.
Maybe I’m stretching but I feel like the west by and large doesn’t appreciate escapism in fiction. Like super heroes/marvel is fine at escapism but you have people trying to defend it as fine art like they have to explaining why it’s okay for them to defend. Not to mention people that treat Harry Potter like it’s the Bible. Like bro it doesn’t always have to be deep. Sometimes you can just enjoy dumb fan service
I honestly haven’t heard the term before but it is my religion
I like slice-of-life stories for this purpose, although in the west they tend to be a slice-of-life of conflict. But I’d read the hell out of sixteen different healing, soothing coffeeshop-au-style romances set in Jaqueline Carey’s Kushiel universe or deadcatwithaflamethrower’s medieval Harry Potter variant or Tamsyn Muir’s Locked Tomb universe.
